The BP crude oil spill could render been avoided with the right government requirements. Having a relief well could have prevented all the negative effects that the oil spill had on the country.
The oil spill has caused damage to hearty wildlife that is important to the population. There has also been a decrease in tourism because of the destroyed beaches which has caused a major decrease in profit. It only takes one quart of oil to make 250,000 gallons of water system toxic. This shows how easily oil spreads and how quickly it can pollute not only one area but many. Seafood prices have increase due to the infected aquatic life. The oil spill has economically drained the country because of the expense of attempting to clean it up.
Many animals lives were enjoin in great danger due to the oil, especially since it was the cadence of season when birds like to mate along the coast.



Even suddenly Sea Turtles have been found which proves how deep into the water the oil has spread. Most of the animals lives seem hopeless if they farm caught up in an oily sticky mess. The teeny animals have small hearts that cannot handle the anxiety of being scrub and scrubbed by strange people. If by chance the small animals survive the recovery there is no living pattern for them to be released back into. With the oil covering their once close-fitting home, with their family gone, and food sources vanished they have nothing continue their life. Not only small animals such as birds and turtles are affected by this but even dolphins and whales can be threatened by the grease.
