Through out history different regime powers and rulers have a bun in the oven granted their citizens m all rights. However, these citizens have been male, many world land owning males. Other citizens, women, non-land owners, slaves, and former slaves had been restricted of many of the rights abandoned to a few.

The enlightenment period lead to the crusaders of the nineteenth Century, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony, who fought for the right to vote. Many women take for granted the right to vote and the struggles that had been over bed to allow women, like me, to vote this last November. How did we come to the point that women were given the right to vote? It began in the reason period, to those who fought for women’s rights and to the suffrage movement.
