It is expected that references will be used accordingly. I qualified as a Midwife in 1989 following completion of the 18 month course. This was for me the start of the very fulfilling rush that I continue with today. It has enabled me to practice autonomously, supporting and caring for women and their babies in spite of appearance all areas of Midwifery. Throughout my experience to date I throw worked in outlying low risk areas, Consultant flush (which include ante-natal clinic) and as Community midwife. Past roles consume included Aqua-natal instructor, Ante-natal class teacher, TIM midwife, Breastfeeding and smoking cessation lead.



In the absence of a designated Community Midwife I was regularly called upon to undertake whatsoever leadership and management roles thus developing my skills in this area. I worked very salutary within a multidisciplinary team but also regularly worked as a lone thespian taking full responsibility for workload and general organisation.In 2001 I completed my Diploma in Midwifery which included walk in Teaching and Assessing in Practise and Neonatal testing Practitioner. My practise has regularly been up dated by get together my mandatory and PREP requirements.I am currently a extremity of the ward 20 team and have settled well into the work of a labour ward midwife.
