My duty as a care sponsor is to know that it is authorised to treat people with respect, regardless of their age, race, colour, religion, ethnic back ground, disability, or sexual orientation by promoting tolerable opportunities, rights, choice, dignity and diversity.

My responsibilities, basing in my nursing home, I have to pee-pee a happy, positive, stimulating and a multicultural environment in which all service users can be cared for safely. It is also important that they are catered for individualistically and appropriately depending on their needs.

I need to be able to communicate in a positive and constructive manner with my colleagues and the clients relations.

In general, I should happen the legislation of the GSCC code of practise for support workers. My companys policies and procedures are also built around these legislations and code of practice, which in turns defines my job description.
