All incoming freshman students argon required to read Bombingham and complete a writing appointee during the summer preceding the fall 2010 term.
* Students will subsequently enroll in small book discussion groups and a campus-wide fabrication during Welcome Week in August.

Participation in this action mechanism will help to facilitate the students transition from high give lessons to college by giving them an early introduction to the academic expectations of the University, and by allowing them to interact with FAMU faculty and staff before classes begin. In addition, this action mechanism will also serve to enhance the students critical thought process and communication skills.
